At Emerald Watch Co., we offer as standard a 1-year warranty on all our timepieces unless otherwise stated. If your watch develops a fault within this period, you can return it to us for repair or replacement.
Postage Costs
• Within 30 days of purchase: We’ll cover the cost of postage for returns.
• After 30 days: Postage costs are the customer’s responsibility.
We recommend using a trackable postal service for returning watches to ensure safe delivery. Repairs typically take between 14 and 21 working days.
Warranty Coverage
Our warranty covers defects related to the movement, such as abnormally gaining time, losing time, or not keeping proper time. However, it does not cover “external damage” or issues resulting from improper use.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
• Water or moisture damage, including damage caused if the watch exceeds its stated water resistance limits.
• External damage to the watch case, crystal/glass, bezel, bracelet, straps, screws, crown/stem, finishes, clasps/buckles, or any physical part of the watch.
• Defects resulting from wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage (e.g., dropping or banging the watch).
• Missing stones or gems on the watch face or outer casing.
• Watches labeled as water-resistant that feature a screw-down crown must have the crown properly secured at all times to maintain water resistance.
Important Notes
For watches designed for water resistance, water damage is not covered under this warranty, even if caused by an improperly secured crown.
